Current Work
St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1 West 54th Street, NY, NY

Northeast Stained Glass is currently working on the restoration of one of the clerestory
windows on the north side of St. Thomas. The panel shown is from this window and
bears its name "Gentleness". We are proud to be part of the team of 12 studios chosen
to be a part of this restoration. Please feel free to follow the progress of this multi-year
project by clicking the link to the St. Thomas website .
Another panel from the "Gentleness" window. These windows were made for the church
by James Powell and Sons, Whitefriars, London.
Chris is making a rubbing of the "Gentleness" window pictured above prior to disassembly.
First Presbyterian Church of Deckertown, 23 Unionville Avenue, Sussex, NJ

We have restored one window in this community church and are about to begin another.
Small projects like this one are just as important to us as large high profile ones.
Hamburg Baptist Church, Rt 23, Hamburg, NJ

We recently removed the unsightly polycarbonate protection glazing from this wonderful little
church. All of the protective glazing was improperly ventilated, and was causing damage to the
leaded glass. The remaining plate glass protective glazing will be retained and properly ventilated.
